Ergonomics Assessment

 

The Ergonomics module allows the user to attach Ergonomics Assessment sheets. These sheets can be attached to the following nodes:

Operations (mBOM tree)

Activities (mBOM tree)

Plants (Plant tree)

Boundaries (Plant tree)

Activity Locations (Plant tree)

The module is accessed by selecting any of the above nodes and then selecting the Ergonomics tab on the right hand side.

 

Rules

 

For a given node, two assessment sheets cannot have the same ID.

Although the user can change the contents of the sheet, the user should first click the “Edit” button before making changes and then click the “Save” or “Cancel” buttons to save or cancel changes.

 

Proplanner loads a default ergonomics assessment sheet. Users can create their own assessments in HTML and import them into the system. A Plant ergonomics assessment sheet can have a template as shown in the diagram below.

Importing/Exporting a Template

The Import/Export Utility allows the user to upload/Download a Template File from his local File System into the Database.

Click on the “Ergonomics” Menu.

Select the "Add New" and then either the "Use Default" or "Select Template”, that is one of the Nodes shown above in the image.

NOTE: Ergonomics Module can have a Template which will be loaded by default each time the user visits the Module. The user will have to name this File as “Default.htm” and then upload it (using the import utility).

 

Loading a Default Template

Click on the “Ergonomics” Menu.

Select the "Add New" and then "Use Default" option.

Enter the ID (mandatory field) and the other details for the Default Template and click on the “OK” button. The ID should be a Number.

NOTE: A unique ID will be created by default

 

Loading an existing Template

 

Click on the “Ergonomics” Menu.

Select the "Add New" and then "Select Template" option.

Enter the ID (mandatory field) and the other details for the selected Template and click on the “OK” button. User can select “Default.htm” Template File to load an existing Template File as well.

 

Removing an existing Assessment

 

Select one of the Nodes mentioned above.

Select the Ergonomics Assessment to be removed.

Click on the “Ergonomics” Menu.

Click on the “Remove” Menu.

Click on the “Yes” button to remove the selected Assessment.

 

Printing Ergonomics Sheets

Ergonomics sheet can be printed by selecting the “Preview” button and then selecting “Print”.
