All unassigned processes are available in the ‘Unassigned Processes’ fly-out window on the left. Clicking on the tab will expand the window. You can anchor the window by selecting the button on the top right of the window and the same button to minimize it.

Select processes from this unassigned list by using the regular windows selection processes. Use the Ctrl and Shift key for selecting multiple processes.

STEP 2: Changing the Takt time

‘Takt Time’ invoked from the Edit menu sets the takt time. A red line in the graph indicates takt time in the balance. For a manual balance, it is used for calculation of utilizations.

STEP 3: Understanding violations

A red R indicates a resource violation , a pink M indicates a monumental resource violation and a green P precedence violation. Moving your mouse pointer violation shows the resource or task.

STEP 4: Moving tasks around and un-assigning tasks

Any task can be moved to another station (or un-assign them) by selecting the tasks and right clicking on them and either selecting ‘Assign to Station’ (or ‘Remove Assignment’). You can do this from the graph or by invoking the ‘Station Details’ fly-out tab on the left.

The station details window shows a list of tasks in a list form. Select appropriate station by changing the station ID. You will see a list of tasks along with station time and idle time.
