Mass Renaming

This feature allows you to rename multiple processes & components instantly

File Format

· The file has to be a CSV file.

· The format is: “Old Name, New Name”

· There is NO header row

SAMPLE Contents of a Rename CSV file

A010, A010-SeriesA

A020, A020-SeriesA

A030, A030-SeriesA

A040, A040-SeriesA

A050, A050-SeriesA

Note:

1. Please ensure that no user is using the processes/components that you are renaming

2. The old process/component names should not exist in the system.

For example, if you are renumbering

A010, A020

A020, A120

Will throw an error as A020 exists in the system, while renaming

Steps

1. Go to Tools => Mass Renaming

2. Select “Process” or “Components” & select the CSV file in the format specified above

3. Select “Rename”
