Template based Time Standards (MCTime)

1. Select activity (ACT401, under operation OPR401) in the MBOM Tree.
2. The time standard associated with it is MCTime. The user can now attach formulae related to the machine on which the activity has been carried out.
Note: In the Resource module the user can attach formulae to each resource; these formulae can now be accessed for each activity mapped to that resource.
3. Select the desired Time Standard from the list of Standards available in the “Time Standards” drop down Box.
4. The user can also change the resource associated with the activity, this is to allow the user to select a different formula. Select the Internal Class, User Class and Resource combination in the “Resource” Group Box. The Available Templates and Standard Tables should be populated in the “Available Templates” and “Available Standard Tables” drop down Boxes respectively.
5. Select the desired Template from the “Available Templates” Drop down Box and Click on the “View” Button. Equations corresponding to the selected Template should be displayed in the “Equations” List View and the corresponding Fields should be displayed in the “Fields” Data Grid.
6. Enter the Values for the various Fields in the “Fields” Data Grid and click on the “Calculate” button.
NOTE:
1. To attach or remove Templates or Standard Tables; refer to the steps for Editing, Creating, Deleting and Removing Equations in “Formula Calculator”
2. To view all the available Templates / Standard Tables, click on the Check Boxes for the same.
3. To change the Time units for the Estimated, Observed ad Calculated Times, change the Time Unit in the “Units” drop down Box to the desired value. The Calculated Time should be displayed for the Time Values entered in the Text Editor.The procedure for creating and attaching templates (formulae) is discussed in the Resources module.
