The Workplace Planner is a valuable tool. Engineers at a skid-loader manufacturer used the Workplace Planner to analyze their workstation. This analysis supported the assumption that there was already a lot of walking occurring and that work content needed to change in this area.

The goal of the project was to cut down the current 19 minute cycle time to 15 minutes per end unit assembled. This is a reduction of over 20%, and saved over $500 per unit assembled.
