Plant Layout Viewing

The entire plant drawing stored within AutoCAD can be directly imported into Proplanner's Plant module. From there the user can navigate the plant and assign Work Instructions, MSDS, and other BOM data directly to the drawing.

Clicking on a workstation within a plant to see various safety data and operation method sheets will greatly speed getting the information needed to the people who need it.

Plant Layout Viewing Features

Ability to assign Work Instructions, Costing, and MSDS information from the Plant Layout View.
View AutoCAD Layouts. Proplanner has an embedded viewer that allows users to store layouts within the application so other engineers can access the plant data whenever necessary. Users have the ability to quickly search plant drawings for departments, workcenters, storage areas, and machines.

Make notations on the layout. The plant viewer provides the ability to redline, markup, and e-mail layout notes and modifications to other users. Process engineers may also zoom, pan, markup, control layer visibility and hyperlink from plant drawings.
Attach supporting data to layout. The plant viewer provides the ability to link digital photos, videos, or schematics to production equipment and containers. Users may also assign Work Instructions and Costing from the Plant Layout View.

Resolve layout issues quickly. The Layout application allows users to create, track and resolve open issues with other users so that propblems are solved sooner.
Find layout information faster. With the simple interface of the plant viewer, users can easily navigate and search for plants, buildings, departments, lines, workcenters, storage areas, and machines.
Don't waste time searching for plant data. Typically, layout drawings are spread throughout the engineering department, and no one has the current layout file. With the Proplanner plant viewer, the current layout is accessible to everyone, and the viewer also handles "as-is" and planned versions for each area.
