For many years, every Assembly Planner user has gone through the process of selecting Tools>Refresh Templates after every application update. Many users have also experienced the first question we ask if there is an error when generating a report: Did you refresh your templates?
Beginning with v11.5, the application now automatically downloads the latest template files. Users are notified after login that the templates are refreshing. There is nothing else that they have to do.
The template upload process has also been enhanced, as super users are able to force the application to refresh only changed templates vs downloading copies of all templates. When working over a poor connection, this can greatly improve the speed.
